Horst Brandstätter Group launches job fair for employees of the Playmobil plant in Dietenhofen

The Horst Brandstätter Group is organizing a dedicated multi‑day job fair for employees affected by the planned relocation of Playmobil production. The aim of this initiative is to offer early and comprehensive support as employees explore new career paths, providing them with swift, practical access to professional opportunities and ensuring that the transition is managed as socially responsibly as possible. The job fair is an important element in driving this process forward. It will offer, among other things, opportunities for direct conversations with potential employers and for establishing initial contacts. The series of events will begin in calendar week nine.

The first regional companies have already expressed interest in participating. At the same time, the Horst Brandstätter Group is in close contact with the Federal Employment Agency to coordinate suitable support services early on. The establishment of a transfer company is also already underway. Companies wishing to take part in the job fair can reach out directly to the Horst Brandstätter Group.

As communicated on 3 February, the Group plans to relocate Playmobil production from the Dietenhofen site to other facilities within its international production network. The goal is to unlock efficiency potential and leverage synergies within the manufacturing structure to secure the long‑term economic stability of the Playmobil brand. The site will continue to operate through the production of the Lechuza brand.
