Christmas is a time of joy and giving – but not all families can afford gifts during this special season. To bring a smile to the faces of children from households affected by poverty, the Horst Brandstätter Group is supporting Fürther Tafel with a donation of 130 PLAYMOBIL Advent calendars worth around €4,000.
The handover created a truly special moment: the Playmobil FunPark mascot Rico was there in person, making the children’s eyes light up. “As a company with strong roots in the region, it is close to our hearts to spread joy, especially during the Christmas season,” emphasizes Tim-Niklas Kubach, Head of Corporate Communications at the Horst Brandstätter Group. “With the Playmobil Advent calendars, we want to give children in challenging life situations a sense of carefree anticipation. This commitment is fully in line with the values of Horst Brandstätter, for whom social responsibility and community engagement were always a central part of his corporate philosophy.”
Fürther Tafel is also grateful for the support. Jutta Hammer, Deputy Chairwoman of Fürther Tafel e. V., explains: “For many families, it is not a given to give their children small gifts during Advent. Thanks to this donation, we can bring smiles to many children’s faces – and that is priceless.” Fürther Tafel regularly provides food to numerous people in need in the region and supports them in difficult times. Demand for help rises significantly during the Christmas season. With this initiative, the Horst Brandstätter Group aims not only to provide material assistance but also to share hope and joy.
